Terms & Conditions

2.1 Registration: You must create an account to list items or make purchases. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

2.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.3 Unified Access: All users have the ability to both buy and sell on the platform. There is no separate seller or buyer registration.

3.1 Accuracy: Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing for all listed items. Misrepresentation of items is strictly prohibited.

3.2 Prohibited Items: Illegal items, weapons, counterfeit goods, and items that violate local laws are strictly prohibited.

3.3 Location Restriction: Currently, we only serve Pune, India. All listings must be located in Pune.

3.4 Images: You may upload up to 5 images per listing. All image formats are accepted, with a maximum file size of 5MB per image.

Platform Commission: When a seller successfully sells an item, Next Door Market charges a commission on the total sale value as follows:

• 10% commission on products priced below ₹2000
• 5% commission on products priced at ₹2000 and above

5.1 Earning Credits: Sellers earn credits when items are successfully sold. Credit values vary by category.

5.2 Credit Value: 1 credit = ₹0.25 (Indian Rupees). Credits can be accumulated and redeemed according to platform policies.

5.3 Non-Transferable: Credits are non-transferable between users and cannot be exchanged for cash except through official redemption processes.

6.1 Community Guidelines: Users must treat each other with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in account suspension or termination.

6.2 Honest Dealing: All users must deal honestly and in good faith. Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices are strictly prohibited.

6.3 Safety: Users are responsible for their own safety during transactions. We recommend meeting in public places and taking appropriate precautions.

8.1 No Warranties: Next Door Market is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8.2 User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for their interactions with other users and the items they buy or sell.

8.3 Limited Liability: Next Door Market shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10.1 By User: Users may delete their accounts at any time. Earned credits may be forfeited upon account deletion.

10.2 By Platform: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.
